Using Recast
App license
The iOS app uses Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Your content
Use photos and media you have permission to upload, transform and share. Do not impersonate people deceptively, violate others’ rights or submit prohibited content. The AI provider may reject a request under its content policies.
AI results and credits
Results and processing time vary. The credit cost is shown before creation. Failed generations return Recast credits. Monthly subscriptions allocate credits after each successful payment. One-time credit packs are also available without a subscription. Unused paid credits roll over and remain available after cancellation; they do not expire. Refunds revoke credits from the refunded payment. If Apple refunds unused billing time when you switch plans, credits allocated for that refunded time are deducted proportionally. Credits from the new plan are then added. A refund after credits have been spent can leave a balance that must be covered before another render. Browsing and saving drafts are free. Social app availability depends on the apps installed on your device.
Monthly billing
Your Apple Account is charged when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel in Apple Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not remove unused paid credits. Deleting your Recast account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel with Apple before deleting. Prices and monthly credit allocations are shown before payment.
Web payments and account access
Stripe processes web payments. Monthly web plans bill immediately and renew each month until canceled. Open Credits & plans → Manage billing to cancel before your next billing date, update your payment method or see invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. One-time packs do not renew. Save your private recovery key before checkout; it is how you restore access on another device. A key is single-use and must be replaced after restoring. Cancel any renewing web plan before deleting your Recast account. Contact support for payment errors or refund requests; applicable statutory rights are not limited by these terms.
