Before the first take.
Can I explore before paying?
Yes. Browse characters and templates, try the creative controls, and preview source footage. You’ll choose a monthly plan or a one-time pack when you’re ready to use paid creation features.
Can I use my own photos and videos?
Yes. Import character reference images and MP4 source clips between 4 and 30 seconds, up to 16 MB. Only upload content you have permission to use. Clear, well-lit references and a visible subject work best.
What happens to the original sound?
Video recasting keeps the original audio and timing. Results vary with the scene and reference images; review your video before publishing it.
How do credits and subscriptions work?
Credits pay for AI creation. A monthly plan adds credits after each successful payment. One-time packs don’t renew. You see a quote before every generation; failed renders return the credits used. Manage or cancel a web plan from Credits & plans.
Can I earn money or schedule social posts here?
Automatic social posting and creator payouts are still in development. You can export videos, prepare post drafts and submit work for Recast review. Submitting a video does not guarantee publication, views or income.
Is there an iPhone app?
Recast 1.0 has been submitted to Apple for review. The expanded AI influencer studio is available on the web; iPhone availability and V2 features will be announced separately.
